READY?! SET?! CRAWL!
And she is off. As of November 25th Annabelle as started crawling on her hands and knees EVERYWHERE. She loves being able to get things on her own and getting into things she shouldn't. She is 7 months old now and enjoying her life. She can say Mama and Dada and baba and I'm pretty sure she knows what she is talking about. She is attempting to pull herself up to her knees and feet by holding on to stuff but I think it will be about a month or so til she actually does that.
Bryant and I are doing good, looking into what we are going to do in the future. Enjoying be able to spend so much time together and with family for the holidays. We enjoyed Thanksgiving with both my family and the Krause House. And Saturday I cooked Thanksgiving for some of the Marines from Bryant's office. SO MUCH TURKEY! I still have a 13 pound frozen turkey and a couple of bags of turkey in the fridge!
I've been contemplating how it will feel to no longer be considered a teenager. While mentally and emotionally, it's been quite a while since I've considered myself a teenager, on December 10th I will numerically no longer be considered a teen. Quite a milestone.
Hope all of you are having good days and enjoying life and look forward to seeing some of you for Christmas! Til next time...

October 2011
Good Morning Family,
Our October has been busy and quiet all at the same time.
Annabelle is six months old now, I can't believe. She is sitting all by herself, rolling everywhere and scooting getting ready to crawl! She is so happy, and sleeping through the night! Last 6 months have gone by fast, but they were fun and full of learning. I'm looking forward to all the time ahead as a mom.
Bryant was promoted! Hurray! And if you haven't heard, his celebration was going to a concert in LA. He finally got to hear some of "his music" live. It was fun, and the bands were a lot better live than expected. Our friend Doug went with us and Annabelle spent the night at my mom and dads. Fun times all around.
I started Martial arts again. Since August I have lost 25 pounds! Pretty excited and looking forward to continuing the hard work. I am also starting my job of watching a 19 month old in our home in November.
Looking forward to all the fun holiday events coming up this year. Til next time....

September Updates
Hello Family,
Hope all is well with everyone. How September has been a pretty normal one. Bryant started Fiscal Closeout at work. He shows up to work at 5:45am, PTs with his office, starts work at 7:30 and gets off somewhere between 5 pm and 6:30 pm. Luckily, this week is the last week of this schedule and we can get back to a more normal and sleep friendly one. He got some great news though! His Gunnery Sargent wrote an "update" for his non-recommendation which read - "Has shown great improvement" and they will be promoting him October 3rd! I also get to pin on his new rank, we will take pictures and post for the family.
Annabelle is growing so fast, can't believe that she will be 6 months old next month! She is rolling everywhere and has started some solid foods which she enjoys very much. She has been having trouble sleeping through the night, which makes for a tired mommy, but we are slowly getting her back on schedule.
I am doing good, still looking for a job, but also looking into my options for joining the military when Bryant gets out. I've always wanted to join, and put in my 20 years, and with Bryant not being able to find work, this seemed like a pretty good opportunity to do so. I've started working at getting to my weight bracket and have already lost 10 pounds! Go me! Other than that just enjoying life, being a mommy, friends and family.
Annabelle, Sarah [my littlest sister] and Myself made the extremely long and frustrating drive up to Pismo Beach to spend a couple days with Aunt Julie, Uncle B, Wendy and Heidi. It was lots of fun and they loved meeting Annabelle and spending time with her. The weather was nice, except for the last night we were there it poured. Putting away a wet tent is not fun. And trying to dry it out on the porch later wasn't either, but all is well that ends well.
I will update the side bar photo of Annabelle to her 5 month photo =) Looking forward to writing next months post to tell about our fun times with family at Sianna and Lauren's Birthday Parties, Bryant's promotion, and other fun activities! Til next time.....

August 2011
Hello Everyone!
August hasn't been too eventful, although weekends have been busy with visting family and friends.
Grandpa Don and Marylin Spent the last weekend in July with us and had a blast being with Annabelle. We visited Old Town, went out to dinner, and went to church at the local high school. We had a good time. Grandpa also talked a lot with us about our future. It was a great learning experience.
The weekend after that Grandpa and Marylin were back but this time at Tim and Char's. We drove down for brunch with the whole Krause Klan. Sianna and Annabelle played with each other, Lauren and Rachel went on a little shopping trip together and of course, Grandpa and Bryant played chess. Later that day we met up with my family down in Long Beach to celebrate my Great Grandparent's Birthdays. We went to Red Robin, and man it was delicious. Annabelle got to meet her Grandpa (My mom's dad) for the first time. Pretty great!
Bryant's surviving work, we will hopefully get over this promotion hump soon and be able to breath a little easier. He is slowly working on College stuff, finding out what he wants to do, where he wants to go to school and what his options are for jobs after getting out of the Marines. Stressful stuff, but the that's the future!
Annabelle has started teething and boy is she fussy! She has her really bad days, (today would be one of them) and then her perfectly happy days. She likes being outside so walks around the complex or playing on her quilt in the grass cheers her up.
I just had an interview yesterday with a couple who has a daughter that's only 3 weeks or so older than Annabelle. They are looking for someone to watch their daughter Mondays through Fridays 9 to 3 (perfect timing to take bk to work and be able to pick him up) and will pay $9 an hour. They also love the idea of me bring Annabelle with me so that their daughter can have a playmate! We will find out Wednesday if I got the job or not. I also got my Etsy site up and running for selling like handmade things I've come up with. the website is www.etsy.com/shop/AnnaBuggieBoutique if you want to check it out =)
Hope everyone is having a good Summer! it's almost over already can you believe it!? Here come the holidays and some more family time!
More updates to come soon!

July 2011
Good Morning Everyone!
I thought I would take this opportunity while Annabelle naps to let you all know whats going on with our little family this July.
July 2nd Char, Tim, my brother Matt and my dad Jerry helped us move in to our new apartment in Fallbrook. Bryant is very excited that his drive only takes about 25 minutes rather than his hour or so drive from before. We will also be saving a good chunk of change now which will relieve a lot of stress =)
Bryant will be starting his classes for Troops 2 Energy July 25th, which will train him to work in the Solar and Renewable energy field, to help him find a job before his EAS date June 2012. While he works in this field he will pursue a degree in a field that he enjoys more (we are not sure what that will be quite yet) He also should be getting promoted August 1st (fingers crossed) as long as no more problems arise.
Annabelle is thriving! He next doctors appointment is August but I imagine she is about 10 lbs now, and has probably grown another inch or so since out doctors visit in June where she was 9lbs 6oz and 22.5 inches tall. She is laughing and smiling and pretty happy most of the time. Sleeping about 8 hours through the night which makes Mommy very happy. She is also learning to grab onto things. While playing on her mat she grabbed the ring attached to the singing bird and pulled it, making the song come on. She was very happy about this accomplishment. I have given her little tastes here and there of some solids off my finger, mashed potatoes mango juice and apple juice, and she loved them. I think when we start introducing solids in August she will take to them well.
As for myself, not much has changed, just spending my days taking care of Annabelle and Bryant and organizing our new home. I hope to have a little business making baby accessories started within the next couple months, to reestablish a hobby and maybe generate a little side income. I have started my journey back to pre-baby weight and it is not as easy as I thought. the exercising proves to be last priority when Annabelle wants attention, and no matter how hard I try to eat healthy I seem to always feel hungry. I will fight on though! I am no longer able to breast feed though, unfortunately by body had other plans, and Annabelle is now drinking just formula. I am curious as to why formula is so darn expensive! Oh well, as long as it is the best I can give my little girl next to breast milk.
As far as family events, we are all looking forward to the first annual Krause Klan family camping trip. Tim and Char, Dace and Charis, Jerrol, Lauren and Sianna, and Bryant, Annabelle and myself. Yep even the babies are going! Having been camping since well, when I was living in a tent, and I am surprisingly excited. Maybe because I know that at the end of the weekend I will still have a home to go back to!
Hope all is well with everyone.
Til the next update!

Revision
Bryant just informed me that his office just non-recd him.
Basically that means they filed a "disiplinary action" keeping him from getting promoted this quarter.
Please pray that Bryant and I wont get too worked up about this, and that they might possibly change their minds. I believe that Bryant deserves to be promoted since he has been a Lance Corporal for a couple of years now.
Thanks Everyone.

Our First Family Update
Hello Everyone.
So I have been getting a lot of requests for family updates, and wanting to know how everyone in out little family is doing. I decided i would blog about it, and you can all read it when you get a chance =)
So far in June, we've had some good news.
Bryant will be getting promoted to Corporal July 1st! he will be getting a little bit of a pay raise which will be nice. Other than that, Bryant is doing good, adjusting to fatherhood and the new responsibilities, and trying to cope with the idea of staying in the Marines.
We are also relocating closer to base, to cut down on rent, gas, and Bryant's commute. We will be living in Fallbrook, which is located about 5 minutes outside the back gate of Camp Pendleton.
Annabelle is growing fast! She is already 2 months old! At her six week check up, she was 9lbs 6 oz. 3lbbs 5 oz heavier than when she was born, but still only in the 30% for her age and weight. She also grew 3 inches going from 19.5 inches to 22.5 inches. Annabelle has also started smiling and we have even heard a couple giggles. She enjoys cooing at her toys and her daddy.
I am doing well, adjusting to motherhood, and having a little being to take care of. It's not what I expected but better than I thought it would be. I'm really just trying to go insane from being in the house all time. Going on walks only helps a little bit.
We are all looking forward to the camping trip we are taking with Tim, Char, Jerrol, Lauren, Sianna, Dace and Charis in July. It will be the first time the whole family has been together since Annabelle was born. Should be a blast!
More updates to come soon, until then, enjoy your summer!
Love Bryant, Rachel, and Annabelle
